The Affair is my first album release, and I hope the start of a long affair with recording.  Featuring elements that my audiences seem to like most – beautiful melodies that you can sway to, sing-a-long to or just sit back and enjoy.

To choose the pieces for this album was a task and a half, starting with a list of nearly 200 melodies! Selection was made based on melodies which encompass as many elements as possible of a love affair: joy, seduction, soul searching, anticipation, heart ache, warmth, giddiness... the list can go on and on...

The making of The Affair has been an incredible delight. The musicians and recording staff were a joy to work with. I thank each and every one for their time and energy in putting this album together.

Special thanks to my Dad, Evan Elsley  - he has not only been my Violin teacher from the ripe age of 2, but also a best friend and colleague who provided his musical support on this recording.

I would also like to make special note on what a privilege it is to work with legendary accordionist Enzo Toppano who is currently celebrating his 75th year as an entertainer. Working with a musician of this caliber is awe inspiring – and his touches to this recording have been divine.
