The latest Orchestra in the Vov Dylan line-up!

Featuring all the Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin and Hogy Carmichael favourites, this Orchestra performs the standards you want to sing-a-long to, Dance to, and sit back, relax and enjoy.

The Orchestra comes in two forms:

The first featuring the lush sounds of soaring Strings, backed by a Rhythm section of Guitars, Keyboard, Accordion and Bass along with featuring some of Australia's BEST singers....... This Orchestra has a similar sound quality to those studio Orchestras of the 1920's and 30's - a very cruisy and classy way to enjoy these standards.

If you want a bit more punch to the sound - we can add brass and woodwinds: Trumpets, Saxophones, Trombones, and Clarinets along with Drums to give the big band sound. For this Orchestra line-up we have many of the original Nelson Riddle and Frank Sinatra Band arrangements along with many specific arrangements for us. This Orchestra captures the drive and popular sounds of the backing orchestras to Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jnr, Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack.

This Orchestra is a jewel in our line up....

Since its formation in 2006, this orchestra has been featured in the Glenn Street Theatre and St Ives Shopping Village. Watch out for our Public performances at The Cremorne Orpheum in 2007....
